The University Honors Committee was formed at the behest of the provost and meets regularly to discuss issues concerning honors education across the university, including college and departmental programs, and to recommend policy changes to the provost and chancellor. The committee is chaired by the Associate Vice Provost and Director of Honors & Scholars Programs and includes members from each of the nine undergraduate colleges who have been appointed by their respective deans, one representative from University Housing, and one student representative.
