Student Organizations

It is no secret that honors students desire to make an impact and become involved in more than academics. With so many ways to get involved on campus, it is important for students to seek outlets through which they can best grow as a student, a leader, and, ultimately, as an individual. University Honors offers multiple ways to leave your mark on the University of Tennessee honors community as well as build upon the honors culture.

Many students agree that getting involved early truly shaped their college experience. It allowed them to blend creativity and passion, as well as develop professional skills for life’s future pursuits. The opportunity to work with like-minded individuals to plan events, organize meetings, and effectively communicate as a team allows our students to develop skills that carry forward beyond academics and into professional success. Whether you are recruiting the next incoming class as an Honors Ambassador, helping current students navigate the transition to college as a UNHO 101 honors peer mentor, or representing your fellow scholars on the Honors Engagement Council, there is always room for new ideas, perspectives, and stories.
