Oumar enjoys taking appliances apart in order to gain a better understanding of the various objects we usually take for granted. When not looking for accidently dropped parts and pieces from his various projects, Oumar can be found searching for something new to learn, from video editing to sculpting and modern art to cooking. He is also interested in computer science and the interactions between and uses of various engineering fields such as nuclear energy, mechanical, and biomedical. Oumar is the current Vice-President of his local chapter of the Mu Alpha Theta math club, regularly attends meetings of his high school’s International Relations Club, and spends time tutoring other students in math. Oumar has traveled to and even lived in many European and African countries, and wishes to eventually add all the continents (including Antarctica) to that list. Oumar’s biggest dream in life is to find a way to improve and integrate all lives on this planet through the implementation of technology and innovative solutions to crises in agriculture, medicine, energy, and infrastructure.
