Biography

Mackenzie Galloway is a sophomore in the Honor’s Leadership Program from Bristol, TN. Her major is nutrition basic science with a minor in honors leadership studies and biological sciences. Mackenzie is focused on hard sciences with a pre-dental track. 

As a member of the Honor’s Leadership Program, Mackenzie has been able to develop critical leadership skills through self-evaluation via honors leadership courses. In these courses, Mackenzie has consistently engaged with material that examines the foundations of ethics and philosophy. Outside of the classroom, Mackenzie can be found on the lake wake-surfing, inside reading, or anywhere playing with dogs! 

Mackenzie’s Expert Topics: Honor’s Leadership program, majors suited for pre-dental, getting involved with leadership opportunities on campus. 

Mackenzie’s Campus Involvement: Ignite Serves Team Leader, VolTHON Special Events Committee, Honors and Scholars Ambassador, Student Disability Services Notetaker, Rotaract Club, Campus Ministry (The Walk, RUF).

Mackenzie offers virtual office hours at the following times: 

  • Thursday from 8:00-9:00 AM
  • Wednesday from 3:00-4:00 PM

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 9:15 - 10:05 AM  CHEM 132 (General Chemistry 2) 
  • Thursdays from 1:10-2:25 PM- BIO150 (Organismal and Ecological Biology)
