Leah Gutzwiller is a junior in the Haslam Scholars Program from Cincinnati, OH. She is a Biomedical Engineering major on the Therapeutics track. Leah works on campus as an Engineering Ambassador and as an Undergraduate Researcher in Dr. Sarles model membrane lab.
As a member of the Haslam Scholars Program, Leah has been able to engage in interdisciplinary coursework, hear from Tennessee’s Leaders, and serve her Knoxville community. Additionally, Leah is looking forward to studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland in January with her Haslam Scholar Cohort. Leah particularly enjoys UTK for the Smokey Mountains, it’s variety of clubs and activities, and the amazing restaurants! Ever need advice on a restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, ask Leah!
