Biography

While Keri Burge may describe herself as a sarcastic cow-lover, her friends, teachers, and family describe her as a talented scholar, volunteer, and leader. At UT, the Alabama native participates in SGA’s Academic Affairs Committee and teaches Sunday School at St. John XXIII. Additionally, she volunteers at the Forensic Anthropology Center as a lab assistant. Keri is majoring in biological sciences with a concentration in biochemistry and cellular and molecular biology (BCMB) and minoring in anthropology. Eventually, she plans to receive a PhD in biological anthropology. She hopes to one day become a distinguished physical anthropologist and would love to study bog bodies in Ireland, where she has dual citizenship.
