Hannah (Parks) Donald graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a minor in Secondary Education, and then again in 2014 with a Master of Science in Teacher Education. During her years at UT, Hannah was privileged to study abroad in Argentina, present her graduate research at a national conference for educators, and upon graduation received the Kirkland Spanish Award. She also enjoyed serving as a student leader in Vols for Christ, as a volunteer at Centro Hispano de East TN, and as an Honors Program Ambassador.
After graduating from UT, Hannah moved to Louisville, Kentucky where she worked as the Middle School Spanish Teacher at Anchorage Public School for several years, before moving back to the Middle East where she grew up. Hannah now lives with her husband, Mark, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She teaches Spanish in grades 6 through 8 at the Universal American School and has a passion for working with Middle Schoolers. She enjoys helping lead the Middle School musical and directing short plays. In her spare time, Hannah can be found at the beach, spending time with people in her church, playing ultimate frisbee, or planning her next trip to explore a new destination.
Hannah enjoys returning to Knoxville to visit her younger sisters and their families, and always looks forward to opportunities to connect with current Vols or alumni on her side of the world or theirs.
