Emma Hollmann

Chemical Engineering


Emma Hollmann is a senior in Chemical Engineering with a Biomolecular Concentration from Cookeville, Tennessee. She is a member of Dr. Thomas Zawodzinski’s research group and studies vanadium redox flow battery kinetics and electrode design. Emma is a 2014 Goldwater Scholar and was named the 2014 Outstanding Undergraduate Student for the UTK College of Engineering. Additionally, Emma is the 2014-2015 president of the UT student chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. After graduation, Emma plans to pursue her Ph.D. in chemical engineering and work in industry.
