Hometown – Humboldt, TN

Cody is a student in the Haslam Scholars Program (HSP) majoring in Microbiology with a Pre-Medicine concentration and a minor in Africana studies. Here at UT, Cody serves as the Community Outreach chair and Pond Gap School chair for Clinic VOLS, the Honors Ambassador Program Events and Programs co-chair, and currently the Honors and Scholars Chair for the Provost Student Advisory Council. Through the Honors and Scholars Program, Cody has served on an alternative Spring Break trip to Costa Rica in 2015 and studied abroad with his HSP cohort in Scotland in the summer of 2016. In the future, Cody plans to attend medical school to become an Intensive Care Anesthesiologist.
