Charlie Edwards earned a degree in enterprise management with a dual concentration international business. For his thesis project, “The Effects of Obamacare on Small Businesses,” Charlie examined the long-term effects of the health care legislation on small businesses, specifically his father’s company, Edwards Oil Company. He is now employed at Edwards Oil Company as the Chief Operating Officer.
Charlie spent the spring semester of 2011 studying International Business at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. He also participated in an internship with the renowned Commonwealth Scientific Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), where he learned how to conduct business in a new environment, how to manage an organization of over 6,500 employees, and how to be an effective manager. Charlie was involved as both a volunteer and leader at Calvary Baptist Church.
