Charlie Borenstein

Materials Science and Engineering


Charlie Borenstein is majoring in Materials Science and Engineering. He interned at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Summer 2010 and Summer 2011, generating time-temperature-superposition curves to aid in the investigation of alternative carbon fiber precursors.

An active member of the UT Fencing Club and Alpha Epsilon Pi, the Global Jewish Fraternity, Charlie takes part in leadership and philanthropic activities on campus and in the greater Knoxville community.

    The flagship campus of the University of Tennessee System and partner in the Tennessee Transfer Pathway.
