Caitlin Priester, a proud Memphian, is a lover of science, animals, the outdoors, and physical fitness. She spends her free time outside whenever possible, usually running or hiking, and spends her summers working as a veterinary technician in Memphis. She is a loving mom of two border collies, Sawyer and Ella. She also spent 8 years of her life as an equestrian, further contributing to her love for all animals. Caitlin is studying animal science with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine in hopes of becoming a wildlife veterinarian and specializing in surgery. She also plans to continue her stem cell research, based in UT’s vet school, all four years of her undergraduate career, and using that knowledge to incorporate orthopedics into her future career plans.
