Honors Leadership Program Graduate Assistant
Ashley Scheyder works with Honors Leadership Program as the graduate assistant.
Her responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the Legacy Leadership Series and other events to promote student leadership and engagement.
- Advising and communicating with students to aid in their program experience.
- Collecting information for the weekly newsletter and blog to promote the program’s events and student reflections.
- Organizing community service opportunities and other events for the Honors Leadership Program.
Mrs. Scheyder is a graduate student in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences pursuing her Master’s in School Counseling. She recently graduated from Johnson University with a degree in Human Services. Through continuing in higher education she aims to create a positive learning environment for students by encouraging diversity, community, exploration, and personal leadership. Beyond her academic passion for counseling, Mrs. Scheyder enjoys traveling and hopes to someday visit all fifty states.
