Ready for the World Grant

Chancellor’s Honors Students are eligible to apply for grants in order to fulfill their “Ready for the World” learning requirement. This grant money can be used to finance an international or intercultural experience. Students can receive $500-$3000 depending on length of experience, and monies may be applied toward financial aid award cap. Applications are accepted three times a year:

  • October 15 for Spring semester and Winter Break
  • March 15 for Mini-Term and Summer Semester
  • June 15 for Fall semester and Full-Year programs.

The application is available below during each application cycle. An application cycle begins about six weeks prior to the deadline, and students can only apply during that time.

Once a student is awarded a grant, we will confirm with CIE that student is traveling as part of the proposed program. If student is not participating in a university-approved study abroad program, student MUST provide adequate proof of travel/program directly to us AND complete the International Travel Registration with CIE before funds will be disbursed.

If you have any questions about the RFW Grant, please contact Associate Director Rebekah Page,
