Dr. Sean Seymore will be on campus for the CHP’s “Lunch with an Alum” series on Thursday, January 19th at 11:00 AM. Due to Dr. Seymore’s background, students with interest in chemistry, law, and/or patents are highly encouraged to attend. This Becker Seminar is limited to 20 students and will be held in Honors Seminar Room 118. Lunch will be served. Registration is open to all CHP students (regardless of major) and will close on Monday, January 16th at 11:59 PM.
Dr. Sean Seymore currently serves as a professor of law at Vanderbilt Law School. Professor Seymore graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee with a degree in chemistry and went on to pursue an M.S. and a Ph.D. in the field at Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Notre Dame. After earning his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Seymore went on to practice patent law and has held various academic appointments throughout his career. Professor Seymore joined Vanderbilt’s law faculty in 2010 and currently serves as the faculty advisor to the Vanderbilt Law Review.
