The Honors & Scholars Programs are excited to offer the opportunity for a $1000 competitive scholarship to students in the Chancellor’s Honors or Honors Leadership programs. The Dr. Ronald H. and Carol G. Kirkland Scholarship will be awarded to two rising seniors who have shown substantial progress and success in their honors programs.

The scholarship shall be open to all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, citizenship, disability, age, or veteran status, subject to the following criteria:

1. Applicants must be currently enrolled at or admitted to attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
2. Applicants must be members in good standing of either the Chancellor’s Honors Program or Honors Leadership Program.
3. Competitive applicants will have made significant progress toward completion of their program’s curricular and co-curricular requirements.
4. Applications will be due June 1^st of each year.

The recipient will be chosen by a committee appointed by the Associate Provost of Honors & Scholars Programs. To apply, please fill out the application below by June 1.
