Seeking Faculty for 2018-2019 Film Series

Each semester the Chancellor’s Honors Program hosts a series of films led by UT faculty members to engage CHP students in film as a mode of academic discourse. Not only is it fun and entertaining, but the film series also provides a way for our students to engage with faculty in a semi-formal environment and gain an interdisciplinary understanding of art, culture, and social issues. As with all of our programming, we aim to reach a broad audience since our students come from all majors at the university.

Past films have included Psycho, Dead Poets Society, Blade Runner, and Absence of Malice to name a few.

We have begun planning for the 2018-2019 faculty film series. The film series typically starts at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings. In order to keep the entire event to around 2 hours, we ask that interested faculty members do not select films that run past 100 minutes.

If you are interested in showing a film during the 2018-2019 academic year, please submit the form below. We look forward to hearing from you!
