Kevin Webster first joined Honors and Scholars Programs in 2014 and initially served as the Graduate Assistant for the Chancellor’s Honors Program for 2.5 years. In Spring 2017, Mr. Webster joined the Haslam Scholars Program full-time as the Program Coordinator.
Mr. Webster’s primary responsibilities include:
- Planning and coordinating academic lectures and seminars, cohort outings, and Haslam Scholars events
- Providing academic and curriculum assistance through service dialogues and program development
- Assisting in service and co-curricular requirements
- Assist with academic, service, and engagement record keeping
Mr. Webster was born and raised in the great state of North Carolina. He received his B.S. in English, Secondary Education in 2009 from Appalachian State University and his M.S. in Counseling from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2016. When not working at the HSP office, he is on his bike in the city and the woods, playing old-time banjo, rock climbing, or hiking the trails in eastern Tennessee. Mr. Webster also enjoy dedicating his time to service projects and leadership opportunities throughout the city.
