Julia Ross

Economics

Biography

Julia Ross is a senior majoring in Economics and is the editor in chief of Pursuit: The Journal of Undergraduate Research at UT. She interned for the White House Office of Scheduling and Advance during the fall 2014 semester. Her thesis project, completed during the summer of 2014, was an econometric analysis of the Children's Health Insurance Program. During her junior year, Julia served as the Vice President of the Chancellor's Honors Council, worked for the Center for Business and Economic Research, and was accepted to the Baker Scholars Program. In the fall of 2012, Julia founded the UT chapter of the Roosevelt Institute Campus Network to help students access public policy oriented conferences, internships, and publication opportunities.  Julia's most rewarding college experience was working for the Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships from 2012-2014. Julia is considering applying to law school.
