College Scholars - Health Communication and Promotion
Elle Johnson is currently a sophomore Haslam Scholar in the College Scholars Program, creating a degree with an emphasis in Health Communication and Promotion. Her program primarily combines elements of public health and communication studies in order to gain a better understanding of how to effectively communicate ideas about health to audiences within the health sciences. With this designed curriculum along with her experience as an ambassador and spokesperson for the Tennessee Donor Service’s Donate Life Initiative, Elle hopes to attend medical school and pursue a Master’s degree in Public Health after her undergraduate studies.
Outside of class, Elle is an Honors Mentor and also enjoys time spent with her family on their farm in Dunlap, TN. Elle also enjoys creating all forms of art and runs an art blog of her work in order to expand and connect with fellow artists worldwide.
