Braden has excelled academically through a rigorous course schedule. He has been active in Model United Nations, receiving an award for “best position paper,” as well as Beta Club, National Honor Society, Key Club, Math Club, and Leadership (Student Council). Braden has also been active in volunteer activities, such as Chattanooga Special Olympics, the “Nehemiah Project” to feed the homeless, mentoring elementary school students, serving as an instructor at the Kay McDaniel Tennis Clinic, and volunteering at the Samaritan Center. Braden is an open-minded young man who brings a dry wit and humor to his many activities, and he has a caring and compassionate heart for those who are in need. It is this latter quality which leads him to seek a career in the field of health services. All in all, Braden’s unique blend of attributes makes “Renaissance Man” a fitting description.
