Honors Graduation

Students who meet university as well as Chancellor’s Honors Program graduation requirements receive a distinctive Chancellor’s Honors Program-designated University of Tennessee diploma as well as an honors medallion in recognition of the student’s exceptional academic achievement and valued leadership.

The Chancellor’s Honors Program invites students and their guests to a graduation celebration, which is held during May’s commencement exercises. Since diplomas are not awarded, Honors Graduation is not a commencement exercise. Instead, it is celebration of the Chancellor’s Honors Program’s community of scholars and an opportunity to recognize individual student achievement.
