Haslam Scholars Program membership includes financial benefits including a laptop computer ($1,500 value), research support ($5,500 value), and study abroad support ($4,000 value).
Additionally, Haslam Scholars Program membership entails receipt of a Chancellor’s Scholarship, one of UT’s most prestigious and generous competitive academic scholarships. Chancellor’s Scholarships include the Robert R. Neyland Scholarship, the Frederick T. Bonham Scholarship, the Fred M. Roddy Scholars, the Andrew D. Holt Scholarship, the Manning Scholars, the Tennessee Scholars, and the Oldham Scholars. In addition to these prestigious awards, Haslam Scholars are also eligible for Presidential Scholarships, which recognize national merit or achievement finalists, and out-of-state and international Haslam Scholars will receive the benefit of in-state tuition.
Indeed, Haslam Scholars are eligible to receive all scholarships awarded within the overarching rules and regulations provided by the University of Tennessee Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships. While individual Haslam Scholars will receive varying total scholarship awards, all Haslam Scholars will receive the topmost scholarship support available at the University of Tennessee.
