Todd Skelton

Todd Skelton is a senior from Surgoinsville, Tennessee. Todd is in the College Scholars Program, where his emphasis is business law and corporate governance. He is serving his second term as Chair of the Honors Ambassadors Program, a prospective student recruitment and external affairs team for the Chancellor's Honors Program. Todd previously served two terms as President of the Honors Council and is now the editor-in-chief of Pursuit Research Journal.
Outside of the Chancellor's Honors Program, Todd is engaged in many other capacities on campus. Todd currently serves on the Mayor's Student Advisory Board and the Provost Student Advisory Committee. He also sat on student panels for the CHP Director search committee, 2008 UT Chancellor search committee, 2009 Provost search committee, and 2009 Vice Provost for Academic Affairs search committee. He has been involved in the Student Government Association since his freshman year, serving as a senator for two terms, Assistant Director of the Government Affairs Committee, and Treasurer of Student Services. Todd recently finished serving his second term as President of the Economics Club, where in addition to his club responsibilities he coordinated and taught review sessions for students enrolled in Introductory Economics and led two trips to Washington, DC for the department. Todd was a Staff Editor on the Baker Journal for Applied Public Policy and is a member of the CPC’s Issues Committee.
Todd spent much of the summer in 2006 as a teaching assistant at the Tsinghua University Summer English Camp in Beijing, China. He studied at Cambridge University in England during the 2007 UT Mini-Term, and at Bordeux School of Management in France during the 2008 Summer.
Currently writing his honors thesis, Todd plans to attend law school upon graduation. He enjoys running, outdoors, and politics.
