Welcome Back Ice Cream "Meet & Greet"

August 21, 2009 - The annual CHP Ice Cream "Meet & Greet was a huge success. Over three hundred CHP students and faculty members met to mingle and enjoy Marble Slab ice cream, complete with chocolate syrup and mixins.

The students and staff alike enjoyed the celebration, even when a brief rain storm cropped up sending the entire group to squeeze under cover!

Students also had the opportunity to enter a drawing for a $50 gift certificate to the UT Bookstore. The winner of the drawing was first-year student Kayla Buchanan. Students will more opportunities to win a $50 gift certificate to the UT Bookstore at the next six installments of our Honors 101 series, continuing next Wednesday, August 26, at 5:00 pm in the Black Cultural Center. Current CHP students will take about getting involved on campus. In addition to the drawing, free Jimmy John's sandwiches will be available to attendees.
