The Chancellor's Honors Program supports the following Mini-Term study abroad programs in which students will also earn honors course credit.
Mini-Term in Vietnam - UH 337/ UH 347
Join Dr. Scott Frey from the Department of Sociology on a trip to Vietnam. Students will study the economic, political, and cultural history of Vietnam in the 20th Century, which will provide a basis for understanding current issues facing Vietnam as well as the future development of the country. Mini-Term in Cambridge - UH 337
Dr. Thomas Heffernan, Departments of English and Religious Studies, will return to lead his popular "Study in England" course. Students will study the evolution of the university from its origins in medieval European religious institutions to its development in response to modern social and intellectual movements. It will appeal equally to students of literature, intellectual and cultural history, and art and architecture. Please click here to see the course's flyer.
