Study Abroad

It is our hope that all Chancellor’s Honors students will engage in international learning during the course of their baccalaureate studies. International learning is fast becoming an essential component of first-rate university education the world-over. In fact, beginning with the Fall 2008 entering class of CHP students, an international/intercultural learning experience is required for graduation from the Chancellor's Honors Program.
Please see the UT Programs Abroad web site, and consult with the Programs Abroad office or the Chancellor’s Honors Program about your interest in international learning.
Click here for a list of faculty-led programs that are pre-approved for Chancellor's Honors Program credit. For study abroad courses not cross-listed with UH course numbers, you must file a petition to use an approved study abroad course to fulfill an honors course requirement. Honors course credit will not be automatically given.
Honors students receiving travel stipends through Chancellors Scholarships must complete the Travel Funds Release form prior to departure. Please contact the Chancellor's Honors Program with any questions regarding this process.
