International and Intercultural Learning Grant Program

Eligibility    

All Chancellor's Honors Program students in good standing.

Please note that award amounts are reported to the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships and may count toward the student's annual total award cap.

Dates

October 15 , 2009
Grant Applications Due for international or intercultural learning that will occur during the spring semester 2010, Spring Break 2010, or the Mini-Term 2010. 

April 1, 2010
Grant applications due for international or intercultural learning that will take place in Mini-Term 2010, the summer semesters 2010 or fall semester 2010.

Scope            

Students may apply for funds to cover the cost of expenses related to study abroad, foreign language acquisition, or any other international or intercultural learning experience.

Requirements           

Applicants must submit an Application Form for International and Intercultural Learning Grant. *

Each awarded student is responsible for saving all applicable receipts and returning them to the Chancellor's Honors Program for reimbursement of approved expenses.

Range                       

Up to $3,000 per student per application deadline.

Selection

Award decisions will be made by the Chancellor’s Honors Program Faculty Policy & Curriculum Committee.  The committee will consider merit as well as need when determining awards.
