Lori Johnson
Communications Coordinator
Lori Johnson joined the Chancellor’s Honors Program in February 2007 as the Communications Coordinator. Her responsibilities include web site maintenance, newsletters and weekly updates, event planning, and other duties as assigned. Lori attended the University of Tennessee for her undergraduate work and received a B. S. in communications with a major in advertising in 2004. As an undergraduate, Lori was involved with many facets of campus life including Student Government Association, Dance Marathon, Greek Life, Orientation Leader, and a loyal Volunteer fan.
Upon graduation Lori headed south to Bulldog country where she attended the University of Georgia and earned a M. Ed. with a concentration in college student affairs administration. It was tough for her to be a Vol fan in Georgia, so as soon as she graduated, Lori began looking for a job back where she truly belongs at the University of Tennessee. After working at UT as an Admissions Counselor, Lori accepted her new position in the Chancellor’s Honors Program and is happy to have found her way back home.
