Mary Ann Bright
Office Manager
Mary Ann Bright is the Office Manager for the Chancellor’s Honors Program. Mary Ann is a native of Knoxville and began at the University of Tennessee the fall of 1980. She is the veteran of the CHP staff, having served the Program since 1986. Having trained four previous directors, Mary Ann is still at work perfecting the behavior of the fifth. Her expertise in this capacity is rooted in her care of Jessie, Chloe, Bentley, Sox, and new addition Maggie Mae, all her beloved dogs who occupy her time when she is not caring for her family, including her husband, Alan, and son, Josh. She also has a cat, Lopez, who is much more independent and requires less attention than the others. Like the majority of East Tennesseeans, Mary Ann is a life-long Big Orange fan.
