Miguel Gomez is from Asheville, North Carolina. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and his Master of Arts degree from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
Currently, Miguel is an ABD doctoral student with the history department at the University of Tennessee. His concentration is in Medieval Spanish history and the crusades.
