Allison Thigpen
Honors Council Secretary and Resident Assistant
Allison Thigpen, secretary for the Honors Council, is a sophomore at the University of Tennessee. Allison was valedictorian at South-Doyle High School in Knoxville, where she was also Student Government Association President and Band Captain for the Cherokee Marching Band. This past fall, Allison marched with the Pride of the Southland; in the spring, she became a member of the Rowing Club.
Allison is a College Scholars major, concentrating in public health policy.
She volunteers with ClinicVols and at the Free Clinic of America. After graduation, she plans on pursuing a joint MD/masters degree in public health.
Allison is excited about the direction of CHP and the Honors Council this year. She will also serve this year as a Resident Assistant in the Morrill Hall Honors Community.
