Honors Council President

Todd B. Skelton, president of the Honors Council, is a junior at the University of Tennessee and is originally from Surgoinsville, TN.  Todd was valedictorian at Volunteer High School, where he was also the Student Government Association President and Volunteer Falcon newspaper editor.  He was All-State in both cross country and track and ran on the United States Junior Mountain Running Team at the World Trophy in Sauze d’Oulx, Italy.

At UT, Todd is studying Microbiology and Political Science, with a minor in Business. Todd spent much of the summer in 2006 as a teaching assistant at the Tsinghua University Summer English Camp in Beijing, China.  Most recently, he studied at Cambridge University in England during the 2007 UT Mini-Term.

Todd is very passionate about serving the Honors community at the University of Tennessee.  He is also an SGA Senator, Economics Club President, and SGA Government Affairs Assistant Director. Upon graduation, Todd plans to attend medical school or law school.
