Plain Language: A Style Workshop Lecture & Group Revision

Do you want to write prose that is precise and easily understood?
If so, this workshop is for you! Dr. Barrow-Nichols will explain the Plain Writing Act of 2010 and demonstrate its application through a revision workshop.
Attendance is limited to 25 students. Students should bring a sample of their writing and RSVP is required.
Dr. Barrow-Nichols specializes in 19th-century British literature, focusing primarily on the novel and its historical context. She regularly teaches Composition, Workplace Writing, and Technical Writing.
